Estimation

Estimation is the preliminary process of any construction work, an estimate is drafted to find what will be the cost incurred in doing a project. It is always wise to consult a professional before the budget is drafted. There are different types of estimates, Approximate estimate and detailed estimate are the broader classification


Cost Estimation

Cost estimation is the process of determining the overall cost of the project undertaken. It cannot be arrived until there is a labor estimate or the material estimate is determined. Usually for cost estimation a 2D plan is needed.


Labor Estimation

Labor estimation is a process of obtaining the optimal number of labor needed to accomplish the task with maximum efficiency, Labor estimates are not usually very accurate because the skills and the mentality of  the labors couldn't be considered.


Material Estimate [ Volumetric Estimate ]

Material estimate is the process of determining the volume of raw materials like river sand, manufactured sand, bricks, cement, aggregates, concrete,etc. It forms the vital step in accessing the cost of a structure.
